Josemaria-Sanchez out, Triay-Fernandez at the top of the women’s draw at the Allianz Cloud

From the triumph in the Acapulco Major to the top of the draw at the Milano Premier Padel P1. With the withdrawal from the tournament of Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez, due to an injury sustained by ‘Paulita’, the Allianz Cloud women’s tournament draw changes: Gemma Triay and Claudia Fernandez, winners of five titles in 2024 including tonight’s Acapulco title, will lead the main draw by moving from the bottom to the top.

For the Spanish pair, who have combined the great experience of Gemma with the talent of Claudia (class of 2006), there will be a pair from the qualifiers in the first round. In the bottom half of the main draw are Delfi Brea and Bea Gonzalez (3), champions in 2023 at the Allianz Cloud. There is also space among the seeded players for the very young Ale Alonso and Andrea Ustero (9), with Alonso who in Milan will play her chances of reaching the Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona (19-22 December).
