It’s a great feat that achieved by Caterina Baldi and Giulia Dal Pozzo. After beating the legendary Carolina Navarro (former world number 1) and Jana Montes in the first qualifying round, the Italians repeated themselves in the decisive round: with 6-4 6-4 against the Spaniards Marta Arellano and Laura Lujan, Baldi and Dal Pozzo won their ticket to the main draw of the Milano Premier Padel P1, confirming their great moment of form that had also led them to win the FIP Rise in Napoli a week ago.
At the end of the matches of the second and final qualifying round, the pairings of the first round of the main draw with qualified pairs will be made official. A main draw that, as far as the women’s tournament is concerned, will start tomorrow at the Allianz Cloud.
