On Sunday, after the end of the Milano Premier Padel P1, the picture of the top 16 players in the FIP Race will be complete, and the countdown to the Finals scheduled at the Palau Sant Jordi from 18 to 22 December will begin. The champions playing for the last passes will take the court at the Allianz Cloud from Tuesday, this is the situation, remembering that if winning the tournament awards 1,000 points, 600 are earned with the final, 360 with the semifinals, 180 with the quarter-finals and 90 with the round of 16.
MEN In the men’s FIP Race there are only two places to be assigned: Pablo Cardona, seeded number 5 paired with Paquito Navarro, starts at number 15 with 2,895 points but has only 33 ahead of Alex Ruiz (number 16 with 2,862) and 60 ahead of Lucas Bergamini, who with 2,835 would currently be the first out from the Finals and who will also play in Milano with Javi Garrido (7). With Alex Ruiz, on the other hand, there is Alex Arroyo, number 18 in the Race with 75 points to make up just on Ruiz; in 19th position, on the other hand, there is Sanyo Gutierrez with 2,710 and paired with José Diestro (10). Further back is Juan Tello with 2,130 and in the field in Milano with Inigo Jofre (14).
WOMEN In the women’s FIP Race, on the other hand, there is only one slot available among the top 16: Aranzazu Osoro, who will play with Veronica Virseda (8) at the moment would be in by only 15 points (3,570), with Ale Alonso engaged with Andrea Ustero at 3,555.
