Facundo Dominguez in the round of 16: The Italian-Argentinian and Tison defeated Cepero and Lamperti

Dec. 6 – More good news for Italian padel are coming from Allianz Cloud.

Italian-Argentinian Facundo Dominguez, paired with French left-hander Benjamin Tison, defeated in two sets (6-3 6-4) Spaniard Alvaro Cepero and Argentinian Miguel Lamperti, the no. 16 seed, thus flying to the round of 16 of the Milano Premier Padel P1.

It was a great victory for Dominguez/Tison, who had already been the protagonists of a first-round success against Ortega and Martì Vaño on Monday: after ending the first set at 6-3, a break in the seventh game of the second set paved the way for the 25-year-old from Mar del Plata and Tison, who now await the winning pair between Di Nenno/Nieto and Semmler/Sanchez.
