Giants are coming: the world’s strongest players all in a few hours on Wednesday at Allianz Cloud. Galan and Lebron will open the evening session

Dec. 6 – As in every international tournament, Wednesday is the day where fans can enjoy the best of padel in a few hours.

The day has come for the debut of the best players, all of whom have arrived from Mexico and are ready to open their bags, grab their rackets and draw magic.

As many as 12 matches will be scheduled starting at 10 a.m.: seven on the Central court and five on Court 1. The second match on the Central will feature Franco Stupaczuk and Pablo Lima, the No. 3 seed, against Spaniards Marc Quilez Palleja and Toni Bueno Gomez; in the fourth and final match of the morning session, Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello, the No. 2 seed, will make their debut against Edu Alonso and Juanlu Esbrí.

The evening session, kicking off no earlier than 6 p.m., will instead be a catwalk: on the “blue carpet” of Allianz Cloud, the world number ones, Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron, opposing Ricardo Martinez Sanchez and Adria Mercadal, will transit first, followed by Federico Chingotto and Javi Garrido (No. 7 in the seeding) opposing Jairo Bautista Ortiz and Mario Del Castillo Marin. Finally, legend Fernando Belasteguín, teaming up with Arturo Coello (No. 4 seed), will make his debut against Ignacio Vilariño and Jaime Muñoz.

On Court 1, after the matches featuring Italian-Argentinian Emiliano Iriart and Spaniard Marcos Cordoba against Victor Ruiz and Lucas Bergamini (No. 13 in the seeding) and, later, the winners of the Italian derby between Di Giovanni/Cattaneo and Cremona/Cassetta against Momo Gonzalez and Alex Ruiz (No. 6 seed), Martin Di Nenno and Jorge Nieto will arrive, making their Allianz Cloud debut against Miguel Semmler and José David Sanchez.
