5th december – Winning debut at Milan Premier Padel for Emiliano Iriart. The Italian-Argentinian, first of the five Italian players to take the court at Allianz Cloud (paired with Spaniard Marcos Cordoba) beat decisively Spanish Javier Rico and Kuwaiti Abdulrahman Alawadhi (6-1 6-2 in 43 minutes). Iriart and Cordoba entered the draw as lucky losers after the withdraw of the other Rico, Jose, and Kuwaiti Abdulaziz M.Redha. The couple will face – in the second round – Spaniard Victor Ruiz and Brazilian Lucas Bergamini, number 13 on the draw. Also doing well in their debuts were Bueno/Quilez (6-4 7-5 over Luque/Martinez), Cardona/Moya (double 6-3 over Garcia Bassas/Vera Castillo) and Gaspar/Rivera Serra, who eliminated Aromi and Scatena in the only match of the morning that ended in three sets (4-6 7-5 6-3 in one hour and 54 minutes).
