After losing the final at the P1 in Rotterdam and last year’s final at the Allianz Cloud, Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan are ready to take revenge on Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia.
The Chingalan team beat Di Nenno and Augsburger in today’s second semifinal of the Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1 by 7-6, 6-4, coming back from a break down in the first set and saving two break points at the start of the second.
“Tomorrow we’ll give our best,” said Ale. “We want to win the title. Tonight we were behind, but we reacted well. We know many pairs want to beat us, and it’s not easy to stay at this level every week, especially with opponents like these.” Chingotto added: “It was a very tough match mentally. Martin made me suffer, it was a great match and I want to congratulate both him and Augsburger.”
Fede and Ale are not just looking for revenge — they’re also aiming for another title in Italy after winning this year’s Major in Rome, one of only two titles they’ve taken in 2025 (the other in Dusseldorf).
So the final will be the most awaited one, the matchup that has dominated almost the entire season — the two strongest pairs in the world facing each other again. The match is scheduled for tomorrow, not before 6:00 p.m., while in the women’s draw Ari Sanchez and Paula Josemaria will fight for the title against Bea Gonzalez and Claudia Fernandez at 4:30 p.m. The Allianz Cloud is ready to deliver another day full of excitement and showtime.
