The first semifinal of the men’s draw at Milano Premier Padel P1 is the announced one: against Fede Chingotto and Paquito Navarro, who beat Tello/Ruiz in the morning, there will be Ale Galan and Juan Lebron, who defeated 6-3 6-2 Rafa Mendez and Javi Rico in 59 minutes. The opponents of the number 1, however, play well: indeed, the point of the match – and among the most beautiful of the tournament – was scored by Rico himself in the fourth game of the second set, at the end of an endless point. The match between Galan/Lebron and Chingotto/Navarro will be the second match of the morning session at the Allianz Cloud starting at 11 a.m. with another great match, with Delfina Brea and Bea Gonzalez facing Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez. Not before 3 p.m. is the afternoon session, with the women’s second semi-final to be followed by the men’s second.
Galan and Lebron are regaining confidence and fitness in this end of the season and will try tomorrow to reach the final, as they did a year ago. Two breaks in the first set, one – decisive – in the eighth game of the second set to close the match. “We are happy to be in the semifinals in this wonderful city – said Galan –.
