The central court of Milan’s Allianz Cloud becomes the international stage for inclusive padel. Not only top players from the professional circuit but also the stars of the Inclusive Padel Tour took part in an event organized in collaboration with Decathlon.
Just before the semifinals of the Milano Premier Padel P1, the Allianz Cloud court hosted a match between Marcos Cambronero and Iñaki Ramperez, wheelchair padel athletes, who played alongside Decathlon executives, demonstrating how padel can break down barriers. This was followed by Alessandro Ossola, Paralympic sprinter and founder of the Inclusive Padel Tour, facing Carlos Radó in a doubles match alongside journalists.
“Playing here at the Allianz is always fantastic; the atmosphere is amazing”, an enthusiastic Ossola commented, highlighting the milestones achieved by the circuit. He emphasized that the initiative not only celebrates competition but also embodies the vision of a sport that includes everyone.
Since its inception in 2021, the Inclusive Padel Tour has grown rapidly. Today, it boasts 80 participants and eight international stops, visiting cities like Milan, Rome, Dubai, and Barcelona.
