Milano Premier Padel P1, the wait is about to end: the ceremony for the main draw is on Saturday 3 December

2 December 2022 – Everything is really ready in Milan: the Allianz Cloud is preparing to welcome the best players in the world, protagonists of the Milano Premier Padel P1, the last stage of the circuit headed by the International Padel Federation (FIP) and supported by the Professional Padel Association (PPA), the reality that brings together professional players, and by Qatar Sports Investments (QSI).

The strongest on the planet, these days, are still in Mexico, home of the last Major of 2022 but – waiting to take the flight to Milan – on Saturday at 3 pm Italian time they will be interested spectators of the draw for the main draw which starts on Monday 5 December in Milan. Appointment at the Hotel Meliá in Milan (Via Masaccio, 19), with live streaming on the official social profiles @milanopremierpadel: among others, José Catalan (Chief Sports Officer of the FIP), Guillermo Alcaide and Alejandro Villaverde (PPA), the tournament supervisor Nicola Antonelli and two of the Italian players who have received a wild card for the main draw: Lorenzo Di Giovanni and Daniele Cattaneo.

The main draw of the Milano Premier Padel P1 will be made up of 48 pairs, of which 37 will be admitted by ranking (Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron will be the number one seed, Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello the number two) and three wild cards. The last eight passes for the main draw will finally be awarded on Sunday with the qualifying tournament which will be played over the weekend at Lorenteggio 1947.

The first 16 couples of the entry list will make their debut directly in the second round, scheduled between Tuesday and Wednesday, while on the opening day of Monday 5 (single session starting at 9 am) the first 12 matches of the first round will be played.

From Tuesday 6, however, the matches scheduled on the two pitches set up inside the Allianz Cloud (the Central and pitch number 1) will be played over two sessions, one in the morning and one in the evening.
