The Tricolore is flying at the Allianz Cloud: four wild cards have been given to Italian pairs by the organisers of the Milano Premier Padel P1, scheduled from Monday 4th to Sunday 10th December. In the men’s draw, which will be made up of 48 pairs, the wild cards went to Lorenzo Di Giovanni and Simone Cremona (who recently won the Italian Championships in Parma), Riccardo Sinicropi and Giulio Graziotti (beaten in the final by Di Giovanni/Cremona) and the very young Sicilian Flavio Abbate (class of 2004) and Marco Cassetta.
Among the women, on the other hand, the wild card in the 32-pair main draw is the one reserved for Chiara Pappacena and Giorgia Marchetti. Last year, the draw gave an Italian derby in the first round of the Milano Premier Padel P1, with Simone Cremona and Marco Cassetta defeating 6-3 6-3 Lorenzo Di Giovanni and Denny Cattaneo.
Wild cards were also given for the qualifiers: Simone Iacovino/Denny Cattaneo e Federico Beltrami/Manuel Rocafort in the men’s draw, Valentina Tommasi/Caterina Maria Baldi in the women one.
