From legends Lamperti and Navarro to the Italian stars. Here are the qualifying draws

Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1, here we go. The new event with the world’s top padel players in Italy is ready to start, and the qualifying draw, set today, already promises great action. The matches will start tomorrow at the Get Fit in Milan (free entry until full capacity), with eight spots available for the men’s main draw and four for the women’s.

In the men’s draw, all eyes are on the number one seeds Oria–Vilariño, ranked 80 and 73 in the FIP ranking and winners this year of the FIP Silver Dao Lafoes. They will face the home players Giulio Graziotti and Simone Iacovino, recently called up to the national team for the FIP Euro Padel Cup (October 21–25 in Spain). On the other side of the draw, Javi Rico (115) and Nachi Sager (world number 51 and winner of the FIP Bronze Alicante) will play against Fuster–Solbes. Italian colors will also be on court with Riccardo Sinicropi, who together with Alfonso Sanchez will face Bueno–Arnaldos. Big expectations for the “Leyenda” Lamperti, who will play with Juani De Pascual in an all-Argentinian derby against Renzo Nunez (three titles in the CUPRA FIP Tour 2025) and Cristian Gutierrez. A spectacular match is also expected between the brothers Pedro and Alvaro Melendez, winners of three international titles in 2025, and Christian Medina–Diego Dorta.

In the women’s draw, the number one seeds Sara Ruiz (43) and Carla Mesa (56) will face the Italian wild cards Caterina Baldi and Giulia Sussarello, winners of the FIP Bronze Luxembourg one month ago. If in the men’s draw we see the legend Lamperti, in the women’s there is Carolina Navarro: the former world number one, who announced her retirement at the end of the year, will play with Monica Gomez against the Italians Emily Stellato and Chiara Pappacena, pillars of the Italian national team. Another all-Italian derby will be Lorena Vano–Alba Perez against Giorgia Marchetti–Lea Godallier (Marchetti also called up for the FIP Euro Padel Cup). Among the big Italians heading to the European Championship there is also Martina Parmigiani, ready to play in Milan with Carlotta Casali against the Spaniards Esther Carnicero and Ariadna Canellas. On the other side of the draw, Marina Lobo–Teresa Navarro will face Lucia Peralta–Carla Touly.
