Arturo Coello‘s new partner made his debut in the press room just a few minutes before Arturito won the semifinal of the Milano Premier Padel P1 against Edu Alonso and Momo Gonzalez. Alessandro, a 10-year-old superfan of the Spanish champions, experienced a dream afternoon at the Allianz Cloud. He arrived with his parents to cheer for his idol live and to make him an irresistible proposal. “Arturo, soy tu próximo compañero” (Arturo, I’m your next partner): the message on the sign he carried in the stands caught the attention of cameras and photographers, but that wasn’t all. Shortly afterward, Alessandro was invited to the players’ lounge at the Allianz and then escorted to the press room to meet the journalists.
Seated at the players’ table with the microphone on, Alessandro got a taste of his first press conference. He interacted with journalists, sharing some impressions about the match like a real player, before the much-anticipated moment. Agu Tapia entered the room first, followed by Alessandro’s idol, Coello. With a smile, Coello greeted and spoke with his future partner before signing the poster and gifting him his jersey. After a hug and a handshake with “rival” Tapia, Alessandro left the room to applause from the journalists, returning to the stands to continue enjoying the most special evening of his life.
