Awaiting the first seeds of the Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1, who will be in action tomorrow (Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia in the daytime session against the Deus brothers, Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan in the afternoon session from 6 p.m. against Clement Geens and Alejandro Jerez), the first big names were seen in Milan: Momo Gonzalez and Fran Guerrero (7) opened the day with a double 6-3 victory over José Jimenez and Maxi Sanchez Blasco, then in the evening it was the turn of Martin Di Nenno and Leo Augsburger (6), who defeated Emilio Chamero and Enzo Jensen 7-6 6-2 (with an unreal match point from Augsburger), but also one of the idols of the Allianz Cloud, Paquito Navarro, who, with Jon Sanz (5), made his debut with a 6-2 7-5 victory over Martin Abud and Rafa Mendez. Among the day’s highlights was the performance of the evergreen Miguel Lamperti, who teamed up with Juani De Pascual to defeat Tino Libaak and Jairo Bautista (14) 7-6 6-7 7-6.
Tomorrow, all the top seeds will make their debut: not only Coello/Tapia and Chingotto/Galan, but also Juan Lebron, winner in 2022 and 2023 with Ale Galan: paired with Franco Stupaczuk, “el Lobo” will close the morning session against David Gala and Alex Chozas. Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas (4) will close the day against Pol Hernandez and Guille Collado.
