While everyone awaits the debuts of the leading names \u2013 Wednesday will also mark the Milan debut for <strong>Juan<\/strong> <strong>Lebron\/Leo Augsburger<\/strong> and <strong>Franco Stupaczuk\/Jon Sanz<\/strong>, the latter finalists in Rotterdam and D\u00fcsseldorf \u2013 <strong>Paquito Navarro<\/strong> and <strong>Martin Di Nenno<\/strong> (5) beat <strong>David Gala<\/strong> and <strong>Enzo Jensen<\/strong> 6-3 6-3. <strong>Momo Gonzalez<\/strong> and <strong>Lucas Campagnolo<\/strong> had to work harder for their victory, beating <strong>Nacho Piotto<\/strong> and <strong>Javi Barahona<\/strong> 4-6 6-3 6-2, while <strong>Fran Guerrero<\/strong> and <strong>Javi Leal<\/strong> enjoyed a more straightforward debut, defeating <strong>Alvaro Cepero<\/strong> and <strong>Andres Fernandez Lancha<\/strong> 6-3 6-2. <strong>Mike Yanguas<\/strong> and <strong>Pablo Lij\u00f3<\/strong>, a new pairing formed following <strong>Coki Nieto<\/strong>\u2019s injury, recovered from a difficult first set to beat <strong>Javi Ruiz<\/strong> and <strong>Jose Luis Gonzalez<\/strong> 7-6 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WOMEN<\/strong> On the opening day of the women\u2019s main draw, <strong>Giulia Dal Pozzo<\/strong> and <strong>Carolina Orsi<\/strong> flew the Italian flag high in Milan. Dal Pozzo, already a semi-finalist at the Rome Major, teamed up with <strong>Nuria Rodriguez<\/strong> to win the all-Italian derby in straight sets, beating <strong>Giorgia Marchetti<\/strong> and <strong>Lara Arruabarrena<\/strong> 6-0 6-3. The victory earned them a prestigious round-of-16 clash against <strong>Ale Salazar<\/strong> and <strong>Aranzazu Osoro<\/strong>, who recorded the same score against <strong>Alix Collombon<\/strong> and <strong>Ksenia Sharifova<\/strong>.
