On Friday Thrilling debut for Paula and Ari"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Forty-eight minutes yesterday, before <strong>Miguel<\/strong> and <strong>Nuno Deus<\/strong> withdrew, 58 today, the day of their first victory on the court. <strong>Arturo Coello<\/strong> and <strong>Agustin Tapia<\/strong> are racing ahead and, with a 6-4 6-1 win over<strong> Alex Ruiz<\/strong> and <strong>Juanlu Esbri<\/strong>, have reached the quarter-finals of the <strong>Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1<\/strong>. The first set was no walk in the park for the FIP ranking number 1s: Arturito and Agus had to save four break points, but they struck at the first opportunity in the tenth game and immediately pulled ahead in the second set, which was dominated by the defending champions. The bar will be raised tomorrow, with <strong>Coello<\/strong> and <strong>Tapia<\/strong> facing <strong>Paquito Navarro<\/strong> and<strong> Jon Sanz <\/strong>(5), who defeated <strong>Inigo Jofre<\/strong> and <strong>Alex Arroyo <\/strong>6-3 6-4. <strong>Momo Gonzalez <\/strong>and <strong>Fran Guerrero<\/strong> also reached the quarter-finals with a double 6-4 victory over <strong>Fede Mouri\u00f1o <\/strong>and <strong>Rama Valenzuela<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s draw, <strong>Paula Josemaria<\/strong> and <strong>Ari Sanchez <\/strong>had a thrilling debut, forced into a third set by <strong>Noa Canovas<\/strong> and <strong>Laia Rodriguez<\/strong>: the number 2 seeds won 6-1 4-6 6-3 and tomorrow they will face <strong>Ale Salazar<\/strong> and<strong> Martina Calvo<\/strong> (7), who also played three sets against local idol <strong>Carolina Orsi<\/strong>, who came close to pulling off an upset before losing 6-2 4-6 6-2.
