Milan, 5 December 2022 – The Milan Premier Padel P1 show has begun. First emotions, first first great shots and first results at the Allianz Cloud, waiting for the match that has been awaited since the draw: the all-Italian derby with Lorenzo Di Giovanni and Daniele Cattaneo who will challenge Simone Cremona and Marco Cassetta. The match will take place not before 6pm on the Centre court (live on Sky Sport Tennis in Italy), first match of the evening session. On one side there will be Di Giovanni, from Abruzzo, born in 1987 (he will turn 35 on Christmas Day) and “Denny” Cattaneo, two years younger, born in Vimercate, Brianza, but grown up in Genoa after a period in the Czech Republic. On the other side we have Cremona, 35, born in Codogno (Lodi), who has previously played right with Cattaneo. Last, but not least, Cassetta, 23, from Turin, who recently became Italian champion with Cremona. The winning team will face in the second round Jeronimo ‘Momo’ Gonzalez and Alejandro Ruiz, number 6 in the seeding.

On Tuesday, the first round will be completed with the last four matches and the second round will start, in which the world’s best 16 pairs are going to perform. From Galan/Lebron to Navarro/Tello, from Stupaczuk/Lima to Belasteguín/Coello, number 4 in the Milan draw, but ready to fight after their Mexican triumph.
